Since 2009 Colle Moro Resort is covered by Wi-Fi service in the rooms, in shared areas and the gardens; internet access is free for our guests. A computer is also available.
There is also a brand new archery court: lost among the olive trees, you’ll get the chance to move deftly and relax. During the weekend unprofessional as well as professional tournaments are organized.
Abruzzo hills are worth to be seen, by visiting all those villages with a particolar history, culture and traditions: Città Sant’Angelo, Spoltore, Atri, Penne, Loreto Aprutino, Collecorvino … are small coffers hiding treasures unknown to the most. It is also interesting to visit the several museums of handicraft and rural history.
In the mountain area, only one hour driving from our B&B, you will surely be charmed by the villages and the fortresses which still preserve medieval atmospheres: Rocca Caramanico, Rocca Calascio, Santo Stefano di Sessanio, Castelbasso, Castrovalva, Cocullo, Roccamorice … just to mention some of them.
The Adriatic sea and its equipped beaches in Pescara, Montesilvano and Silvi Marina are about 3 km distant, while 30 km away is the fascinating Costa dei Trabocchi with its free beach. Among the several lakes is the Lake of Penne, WWF natural oasis, which gives the opportunity of an interesting bird-watching.
At a 30 km distance is the resettlement center for some rare animals such as the otter; The Majella and Gran Sasso national parks are 30 minutes away driving: paths and country roads offer a charming landscape to walk, go on horse-riding or mountain bike trips;
Pescara airport is 15 km distant. At night, just a few steps from the Resort, the quiet evenings in the old part of Città Sant’Angelo or, just a bit farther, the Pescara nightlife and, during the summer, the several festivals of nearby villages. Or else, within our resort, some chatting in a warm family atmosphere tasting typical delicious dishes accompanied by the rich Abruzzo wines by Giuseppe.
